As is true for many of us, I love to travel. Photography and travel are like two peas in a pod, each a great excuse to pursue the other! My wife Michelle and I have been fortunate enough to travel in the Himalayas over the last few years and have fallen in love with the countries and the people we have met.

Hitchhiking in Ladakh
Grover in Prayer Flags

The photos on this website are a composite of several years of trekking in Ladakh and Bhutan with Bill Liske, guide extraordinaire, and my wife Michelle.

It has been a hope of mine that the sale of images in the collection would somehow benefit the people whose faces and lives grace the images with such dignity.

About the Photographs

Camera

Nikon Digital

Editing Software

Adobe Photoshop CS2

Printing

Paper or film used:
- Pictorico Professional Photo Gallery Hi-Gloss (PGHG) White Film
- InkjetArt Micro Ceramic

Framing

I order the frames to my specifications from www.framedestination.com , and assemble them myself. The other option is to order “image only” and frame your self. I prefer to use a hardwood frame, but various metal choices are available.

Matting

The 8-ply Bainbridge mats are available in Pure White, Pearl White, and Ebony Black. Pearl White is not as bright as the Pure White. These 8-Ply mats are 100% cotton museum Rag mats which means they are the same color all the way through so the beveled edge of the mat will be the same color as the surface of the mat. Both are acid free, buffered, archival mats treated with Bainbridge Artcare process to help them actively protect the artwork they showcase.

Photo Mount Board

GatorFoam ®
- Ideal for Mounting High Gloss Photographs.
- Excellent for visual displays and mounting photographs and posters.
- Exceptionally rigid and smooth, with a wood fiber laminate
surface that  resists the denting or pits that damage prints.

Glazing

Acrylite Acrylic, Cyro FF P99 is a non-glare acrylic without UV protection. UV Filtering is available at an additional cost.

Limited Editions All photographs will be printed in limited editions of 25, unless otherwise noted, and will be numbered sequentially regardless of size.
